The next morning we arrived in Kusadasi, Turkey. I never imagined that I would ever have a chance to visit Turkey, but with this magical trip, I was able to. The Ruby Princess arrived in the port of Kusadasi. Our excursion took us first into the mountains to see the Virgin Mary Shrine which we had to attend a mass. Not being Catholic, it was interesting to see plus there were stray cats and huge crickets to keep me distracted. After visiting the shrine, we were taken to Ephesus which was really cool because this place had a lot of biblical references. We were able to walk where Marc Anthony, Cleopatra, the Apostle Paul, etc. did. My favorite part was seeing the place where Paul preached the Gospel to the Ephesians.
